Bias ratings are derived from established third-party raters (AllSides, Ad Fontes Media, MBFC, YouGov), not generated by AI. These outputs are informational assessments and do not constitute professional advice. They should be used as one of many tools in your media literacy toolkit.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: we use trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, and authentication (e.g., Supabase).
  • Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Lens uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage. Specifically: Supabase authentication session cookies and local storage keys prefixed with "lens-" for your preferences (theme, feed settings, tracked stories). We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Because all cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function, no cookie consent banner is required under UK GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.
